HARRISBURG-- Rep. Todd Stephens (R-Montgomery) today announced that the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) approved a grant to the Horsham Water and Sewer Authority through the PA Small Water and H2O Programs.
“This money will be an invaluable boost to our community and make sure our drinking water is safe,” Stephens said.
The grant of $298,000 will help fund a project to add auxiliary generator power at two water supply sources, as well as a portable generator to power the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the water supply.
"By expanding the readiness of the water supply system in Horsham Township, this project further strengthens the Horsham Water and Sewer Authority's overall mission of protecting the health and safety of those we serve," said Tina O’Rourke, business manager with the Horsham Water and Sewer Authority.
“Water providers across Pennsylvania apply for this grant. I’m grateful the CFA shares my commitment to clean, safe drinking water for our community and awarded the Horsham Water and Sewer Authority this grant,” explained Stephens.
