HARRISBURG-- Reps. Thomas Murt (R-Montgomery) and Todd Stephens (R-Montgomery) invite area seniors, their caregivers, and their families to attend their Senior Health and Lifestyle Expo on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Simmons Elementary School, 411 Babylon Road in Horsham.

Health care experts and government agencies that serve the senior community will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on what services are available for older Pennsylvanians.

“This expo is intended to help seniors of Montgomery County be as knowledgeable and active as possible so that the most rewarding years can be the most enjoyable,” Murt said.

“I want to encourage all older residents and their families to come out to learn about the services that are available to them,” Stephens said. “You will find it highly informative.”

Seniors and other interested residents can enjoy complimentary refreshments; medical screenings, such as blood pressure or hydration tests; and an abundance of helpful information from dozens of organizations that assist senior citizens on a daily basis.

The event is free. For more information, contact Joan Baist at 215-674-3755 in Rep. Murt's office or Ed Diasio at 215-368-5165 in Rep. Stephens' office.
