Stephens, Murt Announce Grant to Address Contaminated Wells in Horsham

HARRISBURG -- Reps. Todd Stephens (R-Montgomery) and Thomas Murt (R-Montgomery/Philadelphia) have announced that the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will soon issue a grant to Horsham Township to provide an alternative long-term water supply to properties that have been contaminated with a chemical that is a threat to human health.

Stephens Applauds State Police for Sending Mental Health Records to National Gun Check Database

HARRISBURG-- Rep. Todd Stephens (R-Montgomery) praised the Pennsylvania State Police for acting on his request to give the National Instant Check System (NICS) the mental health records of people prohibited from buying guns due to mental illness. The Pennsylvania State Police sent more than 600,000 mental health records to the FBI-run NICS. The records are of people prohibited from buying guns because of involuntary mental health commitments.
